Lyndon is getting Loud (show some love for TSH)
Hi there,
Last month I finally addressed my own hearing issues and have been hearing sounds I've never heard in my adult life. Game changing! And indeed, life changing for me and my friends and family. (Thanks y'all) Why on earth should anyone else have to wait that long?!
This October I’m going to be getting LOUD to support children with hearing loss by taking part in Loud Shirt Day.
Loud Shirt Day is a bright and fun day where people all over Australia dress up in their most outrageous outfits and raise money to support children who are deaf or impacted by hearing loss.
In Western Australia, Loud Shirt Day supports TSH which has been supporting children to hear, communicate, connect and learn for over 50 years.
I'm really proud to support TSH and hope you can support me in reaching my fundraising goal!

**Rediscovering the World of Sound: My Journey with New Hearing Aids**
Saturday 31st AugAfter more than 35 years of living in a world muffled by hearing loss, I recently embarked on a transformative journey with my new hearing aids. The difference they have made is nothing short of miraculous.
For decades, I missed out on the subtle symphony of everyday life—the rustling of leaves, the distant chirping of birds, and even the gentle hum of a refrigerator. Conversations were often a struggle, and I found myself withdrawing from social interactions, feeling isolated in a sea of muffled voices.
But now, with my new hearing aids, it's as if a veil has been lifted. The clarity and richness of sounds that I can now hear are overwhelming in the best possible way. I can hear the laughter of my grandchildren, the soothing sound of rain against the window, and the intricate melodies of my favorite songs. Each sound is a reminder of the vibrant world around me that I had been missing.
This newfound ability to hear has reignited my passion for life. I feel more connected to my loved ones and more engaged in my community. It's motivated me to pursue activities I had long given up on, like attending concerts, participating in group discussions, and even learning new skills. The confidence boost from being able to hear clearly has been incredible.
In essence, my new hearing aids have not just improved my hearing—they've given me a new lease on life. I'm excited to explore this world of sound and make up for lost time, embracing every moment with renewed enthusiasm and gratitude.
**Inspired to Give Back: Raising Funds for Telethon Speech & Hearing**
This life-changing experience has inspired me to give back to the community that supports individuals with hearing loss. I am thrilled to participate in **Loud Shirt Day**, a fun and vibrant event dedicated to raising funds for Telethon Speech & Hearing. This organization provides essential services and support to those with hearing and speech impairments, helping them lead fuller lives.
By donning my loudest, most colorful shirt, I aim to raise awareness and funds to ensure others can benefit from the same life-enhancing opportunities I have experienced. The support I've received from family, friends, and the community has been overwhelming, and I am deeply grateful for everyone's help so far. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of many.
