About Loud Shirt Day

Loud Shirt Day is an annual nationwide fundraising campaign dedicated to raising vital funds for children who are deaf or have hearing needs. Getting LOUD provides awareness and visibility to our cause in a way that is easily accessible for all. 

The campaign is run by First Voice Members in each state of Australia. To learn more about the centres involved, please visit firstvoice.org.au.

In Western Australia, Loud Shirt Day raises funds for children and families supported by TSH Ltd. TSH needs your help to raise awareness and raise funds to provide early intervention services for children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and learn spoken language, to ensure they have the necessary skills to reach their full potential in life.

How Loud Shirt Day Works

Loud Shirt Day is the perfect excuse to be bold and bright by wearing it LOUD in support of children with hearing loss.

Organise an event with work colleagues, school or with friends. Create a theme! Wear your best and brightest shirt, t-shirt, frock, or the most outrageous outfit, including crazy socks, crazy hair, crazy ties and tight. Ask your supporters to donate on the day and have an awesome time!

This year, the official date for Loud Shirt Day is Friday 18^th October 2024 however you can host your event whenever it suits you best.
