Grace was born with permanent hearing loss and started wearing hearing aids at just six weeks old.
While hearing aids help Grace access some sound, she has to work extremely hard to understand what those sounds mean. Simply keeping up with the world around her is exhausting.
Grace also experiences a speech delay, so her progress can feel like two steps forward and one step back.
For a little girl trying to hard just to hear, she has to put in even more effort to find her voice.
Young children with hearing loss have a critical window to learn to listen and speak. Without support, they can miss this opportunity - and sadly the impact can last a lifetime.
But your support can help change that.

“Grace has come leaps and bounds over the last 4.5 years. With hearing loss and a motor speech disorder, she has made excellent progress in growing her speech clarity and confidence in communication. It has been a privilege to be a part of Grace's journey."
Taryn, Grace's Speech Pathologist
